Mary Laurence Studio

Writing and art have always been passions of mine but I have never shared any of my work much beyond my friends and family. It seemed important to keep my creations private. I wanted to express myself in a given moment, to try something new, to preserve a special time in my heart and memory, to step outside my usual boundaries and comfort zone but those creations were just not meant to be shared. I didn’t believe they offered any value to others as they were all about me and my experiences. How would others connect to such personal moments?

Life changing events removed those boundaries and now I am sharing. The goal of my art and my writing is to make people smile. It’s that simple. I have a great time while I’m working on these projects and I hope that you will feel that positive energy and smile with me.
